内容简介 本书汇集了1990年10月“中国环境考古学术讨论会”上提交的38篇论文，是中国首次出版的环境考古学书籍，它代表了中国环境考古研究的最新成果。书中论述了环境考古学的历史、内容、作用和前景，还就地层、沉积、古生物、遗存等方面论述了古文化与古环境的关系，讨论了环境考古的方法和全新世环境问题。 本书资料较丰富，论述较广泛，观点较新颖，可供考古学、社会科学、地球科学和环境科学等工作者和相关高等院校师生阅读。 This book,collected 38 papers presented at the Symposium on Environmental Archaeology in China(Oct.,1990),is the first one reflecting the recent achievements in the environmental archaeology in China,In this book,the history,contents,role and prospects of environmental archaeology are discussed.The relationship between the ancient culture and paleoenvironment is revealed from the data on stratigraphy,sediments,fossils and relics,etc.Meanwhile,a discussion is made on approaches to environmental archaeology and Holocene environments.This book provides abundant data,relatively wide scope and new viewpoints.It should be of interest to archaeologists,sociologists,geologists and environmentalists.
