本研究旨在改善链语法分析器后处理过程中链路的排序效果，使它更有效地进行合语法性判断。通过观察链语法分析器的工作效果，笔者找到组合链语法和基于转换的机器学习机制的有效方法。通过采用组合模型，本研究开发了面向应用的语法检查系统。该语法检查系统中的链语法模块的语法分析结果在经基于转换的机器自学习语法分析模块的调整下，能更好地进行合语法性判断--能更有效地将较优的分析呈现出来，并以更符合人工语法分析的顺序排列语句的所有分析结果（链路分析）。利用该语法检查器处理非英语专业英语四级考试作文时句子的合语法性判断与人工判断的吻合率达到90.4%，这说明语法检查器对测试集语料的合语法性判断的准确率与人工判断相当。
